Rocktec was engaged by Southern Quarries to design, build and install a secondary and tertiary crushing and screening plant at their Sellicks Hill Quarry
Overview
The scope was to include multiple crushers, screens and structures that had been imported by Southern Quarries.
Rocktec produced full process flow design modelling and simulation.
The refurbishment and reconfigured secondary plant include three cone crushers and two 20x8 screens. Producing dust, road base and ballast while providing a feed to the tertiary plant.
The tertiary plant supplied by Rocktec takes the output from a barmac crusher and provides multiple screening and stockpiling options, including radial stacking. These produce the seven graded product splits for roading and concrete aggregates required.
