Ravensdown - Ag Shed Conveyor and Distribution System - Te Kuiti, NZ

The project was to install a mechanical plant located at Ravensdown, Supreme Lime. SCE - Rocktec provided design, documentation, materials, labour, fabrication, painting, supervision, equipment, transportation, and other inputs to complete the works described and to comply with customer specifications and other requirements.

Conveyor

• A single section of stringer was installed across the road to tie in the new conveyor
• The conveyor truss was supported over 4 Trestles spaced at 12m intervals. One fixed anchor point on the Plant side
• The design allows for a walkway on one side of the conveyor to service the Head Section, >300 rollers and the CV includes Dust encapsulation
• ESS Primary, Secondary and Return Belt Cleaners
• All Guarding to AS/NZS 4024 Safety of Machinery, Australia and New Zealand Standard

Catwalk and Distribution Auger

• Lockable gate to ladder access of the catwalk in the Ag Shed roof
• Catwalk is situated above the Auger
• Horizontal 24m long Auger to be suspended from the Catwalk structure
• Access to Auger for maintenance of bearings will be through removable panels in the floor grating
• Continuous Stockpile distribution

Ag Shed

• Okara fabricated and installed the Ag shed trusses and Tarp cover with a hold down system for the bulk storage shed which provided a solution for bulk commodity storage and handling
• Concrete storage bunkers within the bulk storage shed
