Rocktec was contracted by Downers EDI Engineering Power Pty Ltd to designed and built two 7.5m weigh feeders. On behalf of OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd for the Iron Baron LGO Beneficiation project in Whyalla, South Australia
Overview
All Rocktec feeders are built to withstand the harshest conditions and to give maximum throughput with minimum maintenance.
These two 7.5m long, 2100mm wide belt weigh feeders were custom designed for feeding iron ore to meet the customers individual site requirements. The feeders were equipped with a weigh scale system.
They have an installed power of 2.2kW and were both fitted with ESS Primary & Secondary Belt Scrapers and a Return belt Vee Plough.
