Rocktec Avalanche Vibrating Screens for Fixed Plant Performance

For over 30 years, Rocktec has engineered screening equipment that meets the rigorous demands of quarrying and material processing across Australasia.

Our screening systems are precision-built for throughput, accuracy, and durability—designed to integrate seamlessly into static plant environments.

Whether for primary scalping or fine product separation, Rocktec screens form a critical part of efficient material flow.

Got Questions

What type of screen is best for my material?

The best screen depends on the material’s size, moisture level, abrasiveness, and shape. For example, sticky materials may require spray bars or rubber media to prevent blinding, while coarse aggregates benefit from heavy-duty polyurethane or steel. Rocktec offers screening solutions tailored to each material type.

How do I choose between horizontal, inclined, or high-frequency screens?

Inclined screens are energy-efficient and great for general aggregate screening. Horizontal screens offer better accuracy for fine or wet materials, while high-frequency screens are ideal for separating very fine particles. Rocktec can recommend the best configuration based on your production needs and material characteristics.

What capacity screen do I need?

Screen capacity is based on your required throughput in tonnes per hour (TPH). Higher output requires larger screens or multiple decks. Rocktec custom-designs screen setups to meet your exact production targets efficiently.

What screen media options are available, and how do I choose?

We help you establish which screen media in woven wire, rubber, and polyurethane.  Rubber and poly offer better wear resistance and noise reduction, while wire mesh provides sharp cut sizing. Your material type and application will determine the most effective choice — Rocktec can guide you on the best options for performance and longevity.

Can Rocktec supply both dry and wet screening systems?

Yes. Rocktec provides both dry screening and wet screening systems, including spray bars and dewatering units. Whether you’re processing clean aggregates or managing fines recovery, we design complete solutions to match site conditions and product requirements.

What maintenance and support does Rocktec provide?

Rocktec screens are built for durability and easy maintenance, using modular designs and standard OEM parts. We offer after-sales support, spare parts supply, and operator training to help reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Are Rocktec screening systems available in mobile or fixed formats?

Yes. We offer both mobile and fixed screening solutions, depending on your project needs. Mobile units are ideal for changing site locations, while fixed systems offer stability and scalability for long-term operations.

What affects the total cost of ownership of a screening plant?

Total cost includes not just the purchase price, but also energy use, wear part replacement, maintenance, and downtime. Rocktec systems are designed for long-term reliability and efficient operation, helping you reduce operating costs and maximise ROI.
