Rocktec has been involved with the concrete industry for many years, through our development of the Redi-Wash truckmixer washout system and, of course, our association with concrete products using our aggregate production equipment.
In early 2011 we made a major leap forward to become a true “One Stop Shop” in the concrete industry, by reaching an agreement to be the exclusive regional distributor for Elkon. Elkon was founded in Istanbul in 1975 and is still a family owned business. During last 35 years, It has risen to become one of the leading global manufacturers of concrete plant and equipment, having supplied more than 1,200 plants into 70+ countries.

Elkon Concrete Batching PlantThe Elkomix range of stationary concrete batching plants has capacities of between 14m³/hr and 135m³/hr of compacted ready mixed concrete as standard sizes, and customized plants are also available to suit specific requirements. The smallest size is of the dragline design, whereas the larger models are charged from low level feed hoppers, with aggregate delivered to the mixer using either a skip hoist or conveyor. Depending on the duty, the mixer may be pan, planetary or twinshaft. Whilst standard plants are extensively well equipped, numerous options are available. The Elkomix CON range of containerised stationary concrete batching plants have similar features to the Elkomix range and are available in capacities of between 35m³/hr and 120m³/hr of compacted ready mixed concrete The Elkon Mobile Master series of road legal wheeled mobile, low-level concrete batching plants and are available in capacities of between 30m³/hr and 120m³/hr of compacted ready mixed concrete. These are ideal when absolute mobility is required and the plants require frequent relocation. As with all Elkon plants, a wide variety of options is available, including a design which has a built-in cement silo with integral screw conveyor. Elkon Quickmaster Concrete Batching PlantThe Elkon Quickmaster range of compact plants has capacities between 35m³/hr and 95m³/hr, and is a truly versatile concept. Able to be readily containerized, requiring minimum space for installation and without the need for complex concrete foundations (a simple pad will suffice) these plants are capable of installation within one day and may be easily relocated. Their compact profile satisfies compliance with minimum visual impact and the numerous options enable the Quickmaster to be the first choice for discerning operators and new entrants to the concrete market alike. |

Elkon Recycle 10The Elkon Recycle 10 is a concrete recycling system suitable for smaller depots, with an ability to handle a feed of up to 10m³/hr of concrete. It is economical and simple to operate and maintain, eliminating disposal of returned concrete and washout from plant or truckmixer drum. Elkon Bolted Cement SiloElkon modular bolted silos are manufactured on a specially designed production line to ensure accurate construction, and minimise costs. They are available in capacities between 75 and 1,000 tonnes and the computerized manufacturing, preparation and painting (using special JOTUN paints) and packing process enables silos to be built and shipped very cost effectively. The silos are supplied with support legs, vertical access ladder and parapet, cement filling pipe and mechanical discharge valve ELKON ensure that all silos supplied with their plants are complete with all the necessary features to enable plant operation without recourse to sourcing “extras” and standard supply includes ELKON screw conveyors (featuring ELKON central lubrication system), WAM pulse jet filters, cement level indication, aeration system in silo cone, and high pressure safety valves to vent in the case of pressure build up. The accuracy of manufacture and low production costs have resulted in an extremely economical range of silos, their popularity being clearly demonstrated by annual sales of in excess of 1,200 units. The range of vertical silos has now been supplemented by the introduction of a containerised horizontal silo, needing no foundations and ability to be readily relocated on a flatbed truck. |

Elkopomp Trailer Type Concrete PumpThe ELKOPOMP S45 and S60 are compact trailer type concrete pumps with capacities of 40m³/hr and 60m³/hr respectively. They are driven by IVECO diesel engine, with a special valve system and feature automatic greasing systems. They are equipped with water pumps in order to clean the pump after the pumping process, and are delivered with 100 metres of pipe as standard. |

Other Elkon ProductsElkon has developed an extensive range of concrete related plant and equipment to complement the concrete batching plants: Stand alone mixers – pan, planetary and twinshaft in sizes from 375/250 litre to 4500/3000 litre per batch capacity. Bag feeding systems - for cement supplied in standard or jumbo bags, are for use where bulk cement is not available. They consist of a loading hopper with grids and knives to cut/remove the bags, and incorporate cement screw, pneumatic feeding tank, compressor, bag lifting system and control system using SIEMENS controller. Elkon also produces a system to charge silos from bulk rail wagons. Flying bucket skip systems - for the distribution of mixed concrete in precast factories and concrete railway sleeper production facilities. Rocktec Redi-Wash Concrete Truck Washout System
The Redi-Wash system, originally conceived in 1969 in the U.S.A. has evolved into being the most proven, rugged and comprehensive truck mixer washout system available. They are simple to install and operate, with minimum need for replacement parts and low operating costs.
Rocktec and Jadair have entered into a partnership agreement to distribute this machine throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The Redi-Wash is a high capacity modular system, one unit being sized for depots with up to 14 truckmixers and additional modules able to being added to extend to up to 45 truckmixer capacity. The highly efficient operation reclaims all residual material from the mixer drums to provide clear water, a thick cement slurry, and clean sand and gravel. Plant yards are kept clean, no settling ponds are necessary and, by re-using the reclaimed materials, investment is paid back within a matter of months.
